THREADLIFT
The simple, effective, non-invasive, no downtime - “Big Lift” – facelift.
Not everybody likes the idea of a surgical procedure to correct “droopy” facial areas such as the brow, cheek, jowl and neck areas. Threadlift is the most popular procedure offered today for a “quick – no downtime” facelift.
PREPARATION OF THREADLIFT
- Eat a nutrient rich diet before and after your procedure to help speed recovery.
- If you smoke – abstain from smoking for 7 days before and after surgery to reduce the risk of infection and to speed healing.
- Do not take any medications containing aspirin or ibupropin for 2 weeks before your procedure.
- Be certain you do not have a cold or sunburn the day of your surgery.
- Do not wear make-up or contact lenses to the office on your procedure day.
THREADLIFT PROCEDURE OVERVIEW
Part 1: The lift
- Smooth, barbed prolene sutures are looped around designated fixation points.
- A hot low bore “Looplift” needle is used to create a “lasso” in the sutures.
Part 2: Shaping and Sculpting
- Sutures with “fish-like” cogs are inserted into fatty areas – to lift, shape & sculpt.
- The sutures are then cut short – the visible results are immediate!
WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER YOUR THREADLIFT PROCEDURE
The droopy areas are lifted with the visible results seen immediately. This is a non-surgical procedure - so there is little to no downtime and very little discomfort. Local anesthesia is used during the procedure to keep you comfortable. The results achieved equal 60-70% that of a surgical facelift.
RISKS OF THREADLIFT PROCEDURE
There are certain risks involved with any medical procedure. We have minimized the risks by using only “state-of-the-art” techniques, procedures and instruments. That, combined with our years of experience and special expertise in the procedures we perform… dramatically reduce any complications and risks. It is imperative, however, that you as the patient follow instructions completely.
