SCULPTRA TREATMENT OVERVIEW:

1. The injection sites will be cleaned with an antiseptic solution
2. Anesthetic will be administered – as decided by you and the doctor
3. Sculptra will be injected by the doctor in small amounts into the skin
4. Massage is used to distribute the solution evenly
5. An ice pack may be applied to reduce swelling
6. You may experience some redness, swelling and bruising in treatment areas
7. These discomforts go away a little each day – until completely gone
8. You should massage the treated areas several times daily for several days
9. Ice packs should be applied within 24 hours of treatment – to reduce swelling
10. Avoid excessive sun exposure and UV lamp exposure – until swelling /redness is gone
11. Report any worsening or symptoms that “hang on” for a long time
12. You may return to work and normal activities right away if you choose to do so
